355 has blow by.Time for a 383 build
Time to pull my motor due to alot of blow by so i figured itd be the prefect reasoning for a 383 build.Im hoping for 600 rwhp through my 4l60 a4 transmission(2700 stall).Do you think ill reach my goals?
383 lt1 9:1 compression
vortech si trim 13 psi(1150 cfms)
afr 195 cc eliminator heads(ported by blackstone racing)
.400 253/213
.500 282/225
.600 294/233
.650 297/235
Ill be going with a 224/236 .605/625 113lsa or 114 lsa.I dont know if there will be a differece between the 2 lsa's
port matched intake manifold
snow performance methonal kit
58mm monoblade throttle body

No, I don't think so. At that power level, you need to be the guy giving advice, not asking for it.
I'm just kidding, sort of... Of course you will make big power. The burning question is, "Can you build it well enough and tune it well enough to make consistent, safe power and not come apart, and can you get some of that power to the ground." One side effect is that you will be able to do burnouts from a 60 mph roll (on the interstate), which amazes the civilians to no end. Where you getting that cam from?

The bottom end will handle it no problem.Ill be using a lunati crank with lunati h beam rods with srp pistons. As for planting all the power on the ground i should do pretty well.I have mickey Thompson street slicks on there as well as full suspension/torque arm and a rear drag sway bar.As for the cam ill be getting it from lloyd elliot or comp cams.According to lloyd my ls7 lifters wont be able to handle that cam due to how fast the ramp speed of it is so ill be ordering morel link bar lifters with bigger spring that will be around 180 seat and 450 open.Hopefully that will eliminate any valve float and give me alot of power
