355/~500hp=how much?

i want a blower on the car, but im hesitent to put it on the stock short block. how much would a 355 cost to handle around 500 to the wheels, the car will most likely never see the track, and will be for shows and cruisin around town once in a while.

thats where im at..er hoping for those power numbers...depends who does your work..some parts can be had fairly cheap...on ebay.. i got some stuff on there.....pistons wont be cheap...i should of put all my mods in a signature etc..but.....do a little leg work...round numbers.. pistons 700 connecting rods 300 new injectors 400 a supercharger kit..4000 pushrods rollerrockers retainers 500 new crank? head work? tuning? its not cheap at least in my case its like a pandoras box..once ya mod 1 thing, you need to do everythin else... i got a new radiator 600 bucks..3 core intercooler..700 bla bla...personally. put a blower on ..blow up the motor then go from there.... i had a freakish occurence with which lead to. a teardown..but it happens....look at other peoples signatures..see what mods they have..then price out...

im actually waiting for golen to give me a call back. what i want is a solid short block, that i can put the stock heads/cam or a mild blower cam with the stock heads, and put a blower on and make 450 plus at the ground and not have to worry about the bottom end, and still having room to grow for better heads/cam/intake down the road if it comes to that point.

golen said $2700 for the short block, thats with cast crank, forged rods, and JE blower pistons. then on top of that i would put the stock heads, with a mild blower cam, and then the blower, said it should get me 450 easy.
