306 with a Procharger
I think the 306 cam has too much overlap to be used with a s/c. Now if it was on say a 114lsa yea i can see it working. But you would blowing all your expensive boost away with the 306 on a 112lsa.
As the previous poster stated, the CC306 is not an opitmal blower cam. It has way to much overlap. Here are seat-seat overlap numbers for the CC306 and the custom 214/224 grind I am currently using to good effect (613rwhp on 14lbs with mediocre heads) and the 224/236 I am going to be trying this year. OTOH, if you use it with an otherwise stock motor, the overlap may have the paradoxical benefit of lower dynamic CR and help protect against detonation. So I also include the DCR with my combo (~8.5:1 static CR).
214/224 43deg overlap, DCR=6.7
224/236 50deg, DCR=6.56
CC306 (230/244) 74.5deg, DCR = 6.40
Obviously, if you install a blower on a motor with a CC306 you will make decent power, but you will be giving up some hp while putting up with all of the potential problems in terms of low speed operation of a cam like the CC306.
