Y-pipe difference between manual and auto cars?

I have a 1997 Z28 6-speed, and I was trying to mount up the y-pipe + catback today. I traded my true duals for this exhaust setup, and the person I traded it with had an automatic car. Y-pipe is a custom job, and the catback is a Hooker one. When I went to mount the Y-pipe, I realized that it won't clear the transmission brace. I have never seen the underside of an auto Z28, but my question is, are the y-pipes for automatic and manual cars different? If not, how have you solved this problem? Thanks in advance.

Is this a stock style y-pipe or one for long tube headers?
