why don't they make true duals

why the hell did chevy make the camaro and t/a with that stupid y pipe. why not a real dual exhaust systems like all the other ls1,2,6,7 powered cars. and how come no one makes a true dual system for the f-body i know that texas speed has the x rumbler but to me thats if your car is an all out drag car and then theres bassani but that almost 1000 dollars if any one know a company who make a true dual kit pleas tell me

1) single pipe through the tunnel is easier to fit (making room for larger DS and the possibility of a TQ arm).

2) single pipe is lighter than 2 pipes (MPG)

3) single pipe is cheaper than dual pipes

4) small gains in using a dual pipe design.

If your car "is and all out drag car" you're definitely NOT using bassani... or any other exhaust system that goes past the rear axle. Try turn downs.
