have a 96 z28 with hooker headers, and true duals but im gunna change to a catback system and was recommended a y pipe with an slp loudmouth or should i go hooker catback. i like the deep throaty so sum opinions would be appreciated i have ported polished heads lt4 comp cam and intake thanks guys

 

I like the Hooker Catback on my bolt-on Z but the older I get, I'm finding it to be more and more obnoxious. With that said, I really like the stock 'rumble' on my T/A

You've got more goodies on your car like a cam, etc. So it really depends on how obnoxious you want your car to sound. I've heard SLP loudmouths are exactly that. But have never heard one in person. My favorite exhaust sound of all is a Flowmaster on a Fox body 5.0 Stang of all things! lol

There's a guy on here who just posted a vid of his T/A with headers and a Hooker Catback so check that out. The vid doesn't do it justice but it'll give you an idea.
