True duals

Is it mandatory to knotch the frame on the driver side? I have Pacestter LTs. I'm going to run a 2.5" x-pipe system with red hot flowtech dumped and if I need to knotch the frame then I gotta do more reasearch.

Do I need to shield the fuel lines on the driver's side? What would be the best thing to use to keep the heat off of them? How should I point my turndowns? Straight down, towards the outside of the car or towards the inside of the car? I'm also going to run an H-pipe system instead of the x-pipe system.

Thanks for the info guys. Did you know that you needed to knotch the frame before you did the exhaust work or found out after the work was done? I'm not a welder so I think I would have to get someone else to do that but if I don't have to have it done then I won't bother with it. Could I have the pipe knotched instead or will this restrict the flow of exhaust? I thank you guys for taking the time to answer my questions. I just want to get input from ya'll before I make up my mind.

I'm sure there is other ways around. That just worked best for me. Do some more searching and you will find other threads about this subject. But no, you don't have to notch.
