What exhaust do you have? The SLP 2OTL?

I think that muffler has the cone silencer installed, this can be removed. Try a search on this.

Does it have two exhaust tips exiting on the drivers side of the car and none on the passenger side?

The reducer they put in some of those exhausts looks ridiculously small in the pics I've seen. Isn't it like a 1/2" in diameter? If it's there, cutting it out should enhance your performance, as well as the sound, quite a bit.

I had slp SS option 3" exhaust with 2 - 2 1/2" on the left. Muffler was 3" straight thru with glass packing. The 3" inlet pipe had a donut reducer to 2 inch dia. A sawzall fixed that. I've since changed to a 3 1/2" mufflex with a qtp Y cutout. The slp muffler was better than the spintech for flow. B.

Luckly mine didn't have the cone silencer. The 2OTL flows really good. I wish I could modify it to make it a 4" setup.
