Speed Daddy Headers? Ebay?

Re: Speed Daddy Headers? Ebay?
Quality is excellent, fitment is ok (you will have issues with the steering knuckle). Not sure on the flow, probably as good as any other header.
You can't beat the price, so I recommend them to anyone. Just get the fitment issues worked out with heat and a hammer and you're good to go.

I remember reading a thread about these not too long ago, another member of this forum has them. From what I understand they're basically a knock-off version LPP's LTs.

I ordered a set last night for my 93. I put in an offer for 250 and it was accepted. You can't beat that price for a set of polished headers with a y pipe. I have read that the fitment can be a pain if your motor mounts are worn out. I will let you know what I think when I get them

Re: Speed Daddy Headers? Ebay?
DO NOT BUY THESE! I just tried installing these on my 93. They are the biggest piles of junk i have ever worked with.
Issue 1: the drivers side collector hits the k member so the header flange on the head has a 1/4 inch gap.
Issue 2: The second bolt hole in on both sides is not far enough away from the pipe to actually put a bolt in it! I tried grinding a socket head down but it still hits the pipe.
Issue 3: The drivers side collector is so close to the oil filter location, that there is no way i can put my oil filter back on!
Issue 4: the passenger side had to be installed with a ratchet strap pulling on the front and a jack on the collector because this side was also hitting the k-member.
I will upload pictures when I get a chance

Re: Speed Daddy Headers? Ebay?
How old are your motor mounts? If they are worn that might contribute to the k member problem.
The bolt heads are common problem with a lot of headers- I had to put a few of mine in with a box wrench- mine are Pacesetter headers..

Re: Speed Daddy Headers? Ebay?
The car has 90,000 miles and was all stock so I wouldn't think the motor mounts wouldn't be too bad. The bolts holes are so close to the pipe that there is no way I could use a regular hex head bolt. I am using allen head bolts and they still don't work.
