Exhaust System From headers to exhaust tips

spark plug access

I might buy headers down the road and want to know which ones give easiest plug acess and to install?I also want emissions compliantability.

Either mid lengths or long tubes will give you much better plug access. If emissions compliance is a big concern, then I would probably stick with the mids.

Mac mids have great plug access. Probably one of the best

My Hooker super comps have decent acces for I'd say 6 out of the 8 plugs. The last two on the pass side are still bad. At least 100% better then stock. Still have to drop the starter to get the last plug on pass side in.

ABCTiger is right. The MAC plug access is very good and they have the bungs for O2 sensors and the risers for the air injection. On my 95 it was possible to connect the factory O2 sensors without having to splice wire in or resort to extenders.

I might have found some MAC MIDS and noticed they come w/a y pipe(2.5 in.).Do i use this y pipe or do i run my BORLA one? THANKS.
