SLP Headers and Loud Mouth-- TOO LOUD??

I wanted to continue with the SLP mods on the the comp t/a (LT1) and its too damn quiet for me so im going to be ordering some headers and exhaust for the car. I have only heard the loud mouth on ls1 cars w/o headers and it sounds good.. a little raspy but I like it that way. I have also heard an ls1 formua with long tubes, cam and the loud mouth and it was rediculous loud, so my question is on a stock LT1 with the SLP shorties and the loud mouth setup will it be too loud? Has anyone heard a setup like this before? Thanks in advance.

i had a similar setup with MAC mids with cats to the slp loudmouth and it wasn't extremely loud like some i've heard. i think the "too loud" ones are usually with longtube headers and no cats. although the person above me has that and it sounds really nice. maybe the rediculously loud ones we've heard had a big cam in it to sound mean. so, no, i dont think it would be too loud, and i know you'll like it a lot. then you'll even want to go louder! lol

i ran Pacesetter longtube, custom ORY, no cats, and Loudmouth on my 97
WS6. and it was rediculously loud, but i loved it. really nice rumble at idle and screamed at WOT.

i liked it so much im going to run the same setup on my 95 355 formula but im switching to Hooker Super Comp longtubes.

I have an LS1 car with LT's and ORY-pipe and LM cat back and I think it sounds great! Yeah it's loud (even with the 6 spd) but it gets people's attention...just don't try talking on the phone going down the interstate.

It definatly will put a cheesy grin on your face when you go through a tunnel with the windows down (which is the only way if you have a V8).
