buddy of mine flipped his dual/dual around and made it totl.any flow restrictions?

Its a transverse design so yes. It may be slight but there would be.

People do some odd things. Like shoot a .30/06 round in an 8mm. For those who don't know. .30 cal = 7.62 mm.
