I appreciate that, but I really prefer to buy new. How does this exhaust compare quality wise to Magnaflow, Borla etc.? If it's as nice as Borla, Corsa etc., 500.00 wouldn't seem to be a bad price. But I'm not even sure the guy would be willing to take that. I really don't want to drop 800-900 for an exhaust, so I might be willing to buy a nice used system as opposed to going with a brand new Magnaflow, etc.

Also, should it be fairly easy to adapt any 2OTL to my '94 if I'm going to be doing headers and ORY at the same time? I called SLP and they gave me three part numbers for the different models they made for the Z-28's, 93-95, 96-97 & 98+.

One other question, on a stainless system, particularly the 2OTL, is all the tubing, muffler etc. stainless?

I apologize if I've hijacked this thread.

Yeah the whole system is stainless,It sounds awesome with an off road pipe but then again i don't have alot to compare it to,there are not alot of 4th gen cars in this area but a freind has a 93 firebird with a flow master system and it doesn't sound anywhere near as good as the SLP system. If you have a 94 then you would want the system for that year of car.

I believe the exhaust I'm talking about may have been designed for the the 96-97 dual cat LT1's. But I've been told if I'm doing headers and ORY that may not be much of an issue. I think the issue would have been connecting it to the stock Y-Pipe, which might require an S-pipe, or something.

The 2OTL's certainly sound very good in the clips I've heard. I like the fact that it was a factory option on some Camaros and it's pretty rare. I'm just not sure how I feel about the appearance, but I probably care more about how it sounds and performs.

You can replace the piece with the flat spot with two 3 inch elbows. It'll clear, but barely. BTW my 2otl cost me 123 bucks.

From what I've been able to gather, these exhausts retailed for around $350.00-$400.00 brand new when SLP was last making them. Does that sound about right?

you might as well go get a slp loudmouth or a magnaflow if you're going to pay $350-$400.
