Reason why these wouldn't work?
On a 95 Z28?
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Paces...ht_1603wt_1055
says for the 96-97 years... but why wouldn't it work for the 95? Or will it?
Thanks, sorry if it's a stupid question/already been asked and answered.

Re: Reason why these wouldn't work?
what's the difference though?
both are the LT1 engine, though the 96-97 has the OBDII system so it has 4 o2 sensors instead of 2. but i don't see how that would effect anything

The headers in the E-bay link are long tubes. PN 70-1335 are mid-length with a Y-pipe. 94-95 LT's are 70-2235.
The only possible difference would be the diameter of the connections for the AIR pipes. 94-95 factory manifold AIR connections were approx 22mm. 96-97 were approx 18mm.

Re: Reason why these wouldn't work?
Well I was just wondering because it appears that the "70-2235" don't have air hookups and I would like to have long tubes but retain all my emissions equipment since I have to pass a visual inspection and a smog test in TX.
So I could use the 96-97 long tubes, just need to adjust for the AIR fittings size difference?

Nvm...actually took time to read the description on the long tubes for the 94-95's...it says it has AIR hook ups. Just the way the picture portrays the long tubes it just doesn't seem like it does.
Thanks !
Thanks !
