No the hooker is no where even close to the lm1 as far as volume.

 

yeah i have to agree that the hooker is much quieter than the lm1 and even the lm2 that i was running...although it is still pretty loud (got pulled over for noise level with hooker lt, ory, and catback)...the borla sounds excellent, but im looking for something even a little quieter than that....i would really love to hear how the dynomax super turbo muffler sounds on an LT1 setup...can only seem to find other cars with it on youtube and they dont sound nearly the same...

 

SLP 2OTL is pretty quiet as well.

Pacesetter LTs, 3" Custom ORY, SLP 2OTL
Car is mostly stock otherwise, just a few bolt-ons (52MM TB, some suspension, etc.)

 

I love the sound of the 2OTL, I'd consider putting one on my '94 if I could find one :/
