Questions About SLP Mids for a 97 LT1

I found what I believe to be a good deal on some SLP mid length headers w/ORY, sensors, cat, basically the whole package. I was just wondering how this setup, which is off of a 96, only has 1 cat. I thought that 96's, like 97's had dual cats. If I am correct then is this conversion to one cat going to work? My other question is to anyone who has had experience with these headers, I was just wondering how the installation is. I know LT's have all kinds of quirks getting them to fit, I'm kind of looking for something with a relatively easy install with no ground clearance issues. I appreciate any help.

Do the driver's side primaries turn up, rather than down, then reverse and drop down to a large triangular flange, where the stock driver's side cat would connect? If not, they are 94/95 "single cat" headers, not 96/97 "dual-cat". You can run single-cat headers, but will have to address the lack of two connections for the required after-cat O2 sensors. Either a pair of "sims", tuning the after-cat O2 sensors out, or adding two bungs after the single cat.
