Exhaust System From headers to exhaust tips

Exclamation PLEASE HELP!! Flowmaster on a 2002 Camaro!! HELP!

hi, i have a 2002 camaro v6 with a stock exhaust.. i found someone selling a flowmaster muffler with dual tips with 24 inch stainless steel tips and the muffler is a 3 inch inlet an dual 2 1/2 outlet..
will this fit!!!

PLEASE LET ME KNOW ASAP!

i dont no if the 1997 and 2002 have the same size, but mine 1997 v6 was 2 1/4 inch.

but do u think they could weld it on?? even if it was that, it is not that much of a difference.

Any shop should be able to make it work with an adapter if necessary...simple.

Just make sure they measure the tips from the license plate not the frame rails underneath the car. A lot of shops will assume the frame is even on both sides but its not- its offset about 4"...

had the system installed on saturday and it sounds sooooooooooooo difrerent and sooooooooooo much louder.... such a huge difference i did not think that just a flomaster muffler and dual exhaust would make such a difference....but it really did!
will post pictures of it installed asap!

I have had my 01 3.8 V6 for just over a year. hated the stock exhaust, today i added flomaster with round tips. it sounds realy good.only problem at idelit still sounds not so good.can i lower rpmto about 500 so it dosen not sound like a sowing machine?

The best sounding muffler on a 3.8 I've ever heard was the system I got from RK Sport when I had my 3.8 years ago.

It had a Dynomax Super Turbo muffler and it made that 3.8 sound like a small V8. Had a very deep sound. I've heard some Flowmaster's on a 3.8 before(not sure what series muffler) and it was no where near as good as the Dynomax.

Looks like they don't even sell it anymore, but it was not a catback, just the Dynomax super turbo muffler and tips.
