Percy's XX Carbon Header Gasket ?'s

Anyone used these?

they're cheap! 15 bucks for the pair, and they claim they withstand a ton of direct heat

i need to replace my drivers side gasket as the two center primaries are leaking badly, and i can see the soot buildup on hte head above the gasket. towards the valve cover...

setup is pacesetter longtubes with copper mr gasket header gaskets

so......should i get the seal for good aluminum ones for 40 bucks, or take a chance with the new age carbon ones

btw, summit is 8 miles from my house here in mcdonough, so it's not like i have to wait to get the things.

any help here is, as usual, greatly appreciated

Im using the Percy's carbon header gaskets with my Kooks long tubes. They actually came supplied with them. So far they work great, no leaks at all. I ran Fel Pro gaskets when I had Grotyohann long tubes, and they worked great on them for many years. You cant go wrong with either set.

I ran them on my old 96 SS with Pacesetter headers with no problems. I tried the Felpro gaskets at first and blew them out so I switched to the Percy's.
