Have been thinking of a way to reduce the amount of rasp my car has, I like a nice deep smooth sound. Car has a flowmaster 80 series, was on the car when I got it, and no cat, which was also gone when I got the car, has a pipe welded in palce. Just driving around, at idle, and wot, it sounds fine, but going up through the rpms or being in them above 2500, there's too much rasp for me. Don't really have the money for a cat back, but was wondering if the pacesetter resonator tips would help cut down on the rasp, and how would it sound? Anyone know, or better yet can anyone get ahold of a soundclip? TIA.
