pacesetter mid-tubes clearance?

pacesetter mid-tubes clearance?

i've got a set of mid-tube headers on my 96 T/A anybody ever run into clearance problem with the header making contact with the steering shaft? thanks

I've heard of more then one occasion where the steering shaft has rubbed on the mid-length primaries.

Haven't heard of that on that application, but I can tell you that stepped Kooks for the LT1 do indeed rub the steering knuckle.

My friend had this same thing happen to him with his 96 z28. He replaced the motor mount and has not had any more problems with it
