Pacesetter issues heeeeelp
im looking into getting some pacesetter LT's but when i was talking to a few of my friends they all had bad things to say like they have bad sealing problems and theyr cheap so they cannot be good. When i've looked around here i usually see positive posts about the pacesetters and was wondering if i could get some feedback from your positive and negative experiances with the LT's
i have a few small surface spots on mine after 2 months of daily driving it (yes, i drive it in the rain), but it can easily be wiped off with some goo-gone or vinegar, but its kind of hard to get into the cracks where the primaries come into the collector, gotta use q-tips for that job
About six months for me. As for sealing, I have a slight leak on the drivers side where it mates to the y-pipe. I am using a band clamp though instead of the u-clamps that come supplied with the headers. I also had some fitment issues with the EGR fitting. Its basically one of those things where you get what you pay for. If you want the best, then look into a set of Kooks, but be prepared to spend nearly double.
