Pacesetter/Hooker and Mufflex question..

ok.. I want a set of Pacesetter LT's because they're inexpensive and good quality.... I'd also like a Mufflex Y pipe because it has a NICE Y merge collector instead of just slamming two pipes together (Eliminates rasp this way). It's dual 3" mandrel piping into a 4" intermediate.

Here's my problem. The Mufflex Y says it only fits Hooker LT's. Will it work on Hooker Super Comps, or regular Hookers? What's the difference between the two besides primary sizes. Supers have a 1 7/8" primary and the Regular Hookers have a 1 3/4" primaries. THey are also a tad on the expensive side.

I've seen a vid of the Mufflex Y and ti sounds NICE! Almost NO rasp at all!

Hooker only makes 1 y-pipe (yes there is reg., coated and stainless, but its the same design) for there LT headers. So this y-pipe you are looking at should work. At least on the LS1's. I would need to look up the Lt1's. But I think there is only 1 y-pipe for those also.

I have Hooker Super Comps. ( 1 3/4" ) on my car car with a Mufflex Y-Pipe and I really like the set-up. The fit is good too. My car is an LT1 car though.
