Need help, fast

How is the "Flowmaster american thunder catback FS"? im looking at the setup for $100. is it a good deal? hows the setup? i dont have headers yet, and its a 3" exhaust. could i get it now, and headers later? hows the sound? performance gains? any help is great, thanks

"FS" just means "for sale". It's not part of the product name.

Lots of people like the Flowmaster sound.

One of Flowmaster's catback systems for Camaros is actually more restrictive than the stock Z28 exhaust. I believe it's their 2.5" system with the crossflow muffler, but I'm not sure. Whichever system it is, it's been shown to take away five horsepower at the wheels compared to stock. It still sounds pretty good though.

I don't think the system you're looking at is the restrictive one, so it should be fine.

100 bucks for a used catback is a pretty good price, I would go for it. Personally, I like the sound of the Flowmaster and you will be fine installing it before headers.
