I am putting an LT1 in a 75 corvette and want to keep the side exhaust it has. I have a set of mac's mid lengths but in order to get them to work on the drivers side I would need a huge turn and would loose a lot of flow. I was looking at a set of hedman headers because they are not designed for a y-pipe, but they might dump too far back. Does anyone know where they dump with respect to the engine. Also how much room is there at the front, the mac's had clearance issues with my motor mounts. How much are a set of mac's with y-pipe worth?
