Muffler for True Duals

Ok I'm thinking about true duals and was wondering some opinions on mufflers to run with them and some possible links. I'm looking to be quieter than my current setup but still be able to make some noise when I go WOT. I'm looking for a deep low tone at idle but opens up under heavy throttle. I understand with duals it's not gonna be much quieter but my friend with a 97 z28 has a 2 1/2" TD setup and its quieter than my Loudmouth c/b.

also I'm thinking about going h-pipe because many people seem to swear they sound much better than an x-pipe. any thoughts on this?

Don't pick H or X crossover before you pick your mufflers. Use an H with chambered mufflers like flowmasters and use an X with straight through mufflers like magnaflows. I can't explain it but I think there is actual science behind this. And magnaflow's with an X will be quiet until you want it to be then it will make sweet music at WOT.
