Re: LT1 Headers
Is it necessary to keep the AIR (one per side 94-97) and EGR connections (one on passenger side only, all years) where you live? Do you have either visual, plug-in or tailpipe emissions inspections?
What year is your car? Is it a single-cat (93-95) or dual-cat (95 CA emissions A4's, 96-97)?
Is your engine stock or highly modified? That will affect header selection.
You need to add a "Signature" with basic info about your car - year, model, enginem, trans and any major mods.
"Best" in terms of quality would be the Kooks long tubes. "Best" in terms of cost effectiveness would be Pacesetters. What is your budget? Do you plan to run single or dual exhaust? In any case, plan on getting them with a cera-metallic coating, for improved performance, reduced underhood temperatures, and extended life.
