LS1 Loudmouth catback on an LT1

My friend has a 98 Trans Am, and he is getting rid of his loudmouth catback. I have a 95 T/A with the LT1, would the catback system work on my car, since it is just a catback system? Any help would be great.

Thanks,
Travis

Unless you have a dual cat CA car, you will need the LM adapter kit or have a shop fab up the pipe for you. Even then you will need new hangers.

I have a flowmaster on the car now. Would it be possible just to use the pipe that is already there, cut the flowmaster out and install the LM muffler? The flowmaster sounds good, but from what I read on here, it seems to still be pretty restrictive.

No you need the LM install kit for 93-95 LT1's.
