I have 50 Dollars...

Is there any way i can get a new cat? My car wont pass emissions and all gases are high.

I run a borla cat back system if it matters.

New? Not for $50.

Maybe used? From someone that's upgrading to an ORY?

do you just want a converter shipped to you?

I may have one in the shop but you will need to weld it on

Welding is not a problem. I just need a good cat that will scrub my emissions. Is it new, or used?

I'm sure you'll find plenty of guys on here that will give you a used one - why are you so worried about a new one?

$50 is about right for a cheap cat and welding. Why? Do you have exactly $50 to your name and need to get a cat right now?

Might change the 02 sensors first.I don't understand why the smog places always say it's the cat that is the problem, when the o2 sensors take a dump first sometimes, especially on high mileage cars.My02.

Dave, do you have a copy of the emission failure report.. where did you fail, HC's , NOX's CO or CO2. Could just need some seafoam, plug or wires, or something else. On your '94 the CAT is welded to the y-pipe (it's all one piece) , you'r going to need the equipment or a shop to do a replacement. Doubt $50.00 is going to cut it.
