What I meant was,when you have removed the old exhaust,take your car for a drive with it exiting straight fom the catalytic converter,before you fit the new exhaust,it will sound nice.I drove mine with open headers once,sounded like it had come straight from hell.
Most people recommend leaving the catalytic converter on with the LM exhaust,apparently it gets a bit raspy if you gut the cat or fit a test pipe.
