i ned help on how to replace the egr? i scanned it and gave me the code p0400..and i need to replace it?? ned help thanx

 

Before you spend money and time on this,might spray some carb cleaner into the throttle body.Get the right one though.Then check for codes again.My02.(throttle body cleaner).Hope this helps.

SUGGESTION: Add a "signature" with basic info about your car - year, model, engine, trans type and any major mods. That way people have the info they need to answer your questions.

If you need to replace it, the EGR valve is held on the back of the manifold by two studs. Unhook the vacuum line from the valve. Working blind - remove the nuts (1/2" wrench) from the studs, and pull the valve off the studs - may take a bit of leverage. Make sure you get the old gasket off as well. Reverse steps to install, using new gasket that comes with the EGR valve.
