Hooker Header super competition help

I will be buying some hooker super competition long tubes, to install on my 95 camaro z28 single cat, with borla exhaust, and need some help on what is needed. I already took off my egr system because of my mac headers that i have on, but i do have a catalyic convertor. I know that a new y pipe is needed, but can I install high flow cats? If so who makes them and where can i get them. Since this is a vechile i drive every weekend dont want to get caught with no catalyic convertors by the police if i were to get stopped, since i live in california. Please help, thanks

If you get long tubes in California, you will fail visual inspection immediately since the Y pipe, even with catalytic convertors, moves the cats from stock location.

It doesn't sound like a good idea on a California car. I would stick with the MACs.
