help with clectors leaking tried 2 different clamps any help

I am using the Pacesetter headers and y pipe on my 95 lt1. I have just installed my magno flow exhaust. I had flow master and now that I went to the magno flow I can hear the exhaust leaks and now know why I am running lean. I have tried 2 different band clamps and it is still leaking from the clecters and effecting the O2 readings. Has anyone put flanged reducers that weld on and use gaskets? Do you know the size of the inlet and inlet because the yube slips into the y pipe.if so how did they work and what did it cost to install them? coud they weld over the coting on the headers, or is there any good advice on sealing them? please post how you got yours to seal.

thank you!
Pat

I'm a little confused, are you saying that you are getting an exhaust leak from your catback to y-pipe connection or from your header to y-pipe connection? If you are getting an exhaust leak from the catback to y-pipe connection, that will not affect your 02 readings and hurt the engine driveability. As stated above, I have heard of good things about the stepped band clamps. I haven't used them first hand as I have had good results with just the regular band clamps.

Summit might have them, not sure where else. I would have to assume that you would need a 3" sized clamp, just slightly oversized on one end.
