Headers

hey everyone,
i'm looking to buy some headers. what are some good brands to go for? ones that i can install in my garage. are long tubes preferred? and how about the BBK or edelbrock ones that come with their own y-pipes? i plan on bolting these up to a Corsa cat-back. thanks!

longtubes if you are trying to get the most power out of it.
I along with alot of other members here went with the pacesetter longtubes and Y-pipe. I beleive both of them shipped are @ $450, maybe more since you are in Alaska.

Fitment with the Pacesetters is awesome. There are several LT brands on the market, Pacesetter, Hooker, Jet-Hot, and Kooks.

It depends on whether you want to run long tubes or not. If you want to go with shorties, the Mac shorties are going to be the best bang for the buck and make excellent power. They have good plug clearance and don't sacrifice any ground clearance.

If you want long tubes, Hookers are very popular. You will give up some ground clearance though and they usually are not available with catted Y pipes if you need/want that.

We have the Mac headers and high flow cats on blowout special right now. If you want a quote, email or give us a call.

With the Y-Pipe, Hard to say. You should contact MAC for that.
