Question Header Gasket Change

I'm replacing a blown header Gasket tomorrow on my driver side header... 94 Z28 LT1... Any Tips/ Info I should know before I start un-bolting my headers??? How long should this take me?

GM wants to charge me $400 to do it for me!

car info? I'm assuming theyre aftermarket since stock they came with manifolds. The type of header affects how hard of a job. It should be relativly easy though on most.

You're not meaning blown head gasket are you?

shortys? mids? LTs? Is your exhaust welded? what kind of gaskets are you replacing them with?

I'm pretty sure its a header gasket, an acquaintance at work just paid over $1k to replace a head gasket.
