Actually, if you just hack off your muffler it won't be that loud (and it'll sound awesome). That's what I did on my 96. I have dual cats though, so I'm not sure what it would be like on a 93. Regardless, you should see how it sounds with no muffler at all before you waste your time and money putting in a muffler under the car.

 

You'd do just as good adding a loudmouth or TSP rumbler exh..

Although, your idea wouldn't be that loud, just a lot of work for little difference.
