Thumbs up

Figured I'd add my pretty much straitpiped opinion on here as well. I have exactly what is in my sig, I do have a couple of the Flowtech Red Hot glasspacks, but I don't think they change the sound one bit. I love the sound of an open exhaust at WOT, and the looks you get from people...priceless

i have no cats. i guess someone forgot to tell my car to make weird sounds and backfire backpressure is old school thinking. the goal at wot is zero backpressure. did you ever notice built race cars even with lsx's run open header no problem!?!
Exactly

Its the people that are smokin oil out the tail pipes that you should be worried about.

On my LS1 car I had LT's, ORY and a loudmouth exhaust. I picked up 50rwhp and 40rwtq on the dyno. The whole needing back pressure thing is BS.

I don't understand why anyone would want to remove cats.

1. on a street car it's the first thing smog police check for.
2. you dont need to remove cats to make power, I made 656 rwhp with all emission equipment on car.
3. the car stinks and polutes more than it has to.

I knew this, learned it from this site, I once got into an argument with someone once. But I had no good evidence that I knew what I was talking about so I dropped it.
