Question good sound and power gains

i got my car 5 weeks ago and its a mint 102k California car that i love and my first chevy ive had ford honda vw and fiats i just love all cars and this forum is very helfull. now about the exhaust i wanted good sound and good performance and everyone told me flowmaster sounds good but does not flow very good and the magnaflow sounds ok and flows very good so i got a flowmaster and instaled a cut out is that a good way to go.

I have the Flowmaster AT cat-back, and didn't notice too much restriction. I ended up keeping it after my 383 build. I have a few videos of how it sounds with SLP shorties and a 383 stroked LT1 (in my sig) if you're curious.

If you want to get a cutout, how about an electric version that'll open with a flip of a switch? My exhaust is waaay to loud as it is, otherwise I would have went for a cutout.
