So currently I have stock exhaust manifolds, the cat is still on their and the stock muffler is on there.
BUT
I do have a e-cutout right before the back axle, and the thing sounds greeeeaat.
I love it.
I will be getting some LT in the near future and I'll probably then drop the cat then.
As it is now, the e-cutout is ALWAYS open, it sounds way too weak with it closed. But with the addition of LTs and no cat i'm sure it will become much louder and I'm gonna need to utilize my e-cutout more often.
So my question is how will, LT, no cat, sound with a stock muffler.
I know that no cat with stock manifolds sounds very raspy, but what about the headers.
Thanks

couple of my buds put on a 3" no cat setup and it sounded awesome, but that was long tubes and the whole 9 yards, i wouldnt expect much difference if you leave the stock lowflow muffler and manifolds on, but with that cutout being before the cat you'll see a significant improvement in power and noise, I would suggest moving it up as close to the engine as possible though, they dont do much far away
EDIT: 'awesome' = deep and throaty, like muscle should sound

But i'm on a tight budget bein in college, and I'd like to stay away from gettin an entire catback, and just get the headers and strait pipe, but if its gonna sound like crap with the stock muffler I may reconsider.
