GMMG LT and ORY

Hey guys,

Have a GMMG on order should be here this week or next. I've also ordered Pacesetters/TSP ORY.

I guess i'm starting to get cold feet. People on ls1tech are saying that it will sound like **** due to RASP with the ORY/GMMG. I have no clue. The sound clips sound good on ls1sounds.com.???

Does anybody have any experience? I know it will be loud, but didn't know it was going to sound like crap. I guess I could sell the GMMG and just keep my current flowmaster CB (what the car came with when I bought it) and run that until it rusts out...

I could put a Borla XR1 in the I-Pipe to solve the problem, but then jesus; i've just spent 850+ with all of that when I could have got a Magnaflow that doesn't have that problem...for half the cost.

Are they just pansies over there or is that legit. I know how ls1tech can get so i'm looking for opinions from the more down to earth CZ28 crowd.

its all opinion. I think it'll sound good, I know GMMG sounds really mean at WOT, and if you don't like the sound, just put a cat at the end of the y-pipe

I have a GMMG and Kooks ORY. In my opinion, it isn't raspy.

I love it, and just uploaded a clip to compare it to my previous flowmaster. I wouldn't use the word raspy to describe it at all.

Great video/audio - thanks! The GMMG definitely sounds better - I've
been debating whether to get it. The one concern I have is the how it
sounds on the freeway? Does the sound resonate in the passenger
compartment - i.e., does the sound get annoying?

It's a little loud on the freeway, but I wouldn't consider it annoying. You have be to doing 80 for it to be somewhat loud. At 60-65 you can barely hear it (in 6th).
