Fixing exhaust leaks.

Ok so I have a few exhaust leaks, (I THINK) on my y pipe and my over the axle pipe. How are you guys fixing these? I have tried the band clamp with RTV high temp sealant on the header flanges and it worked pretty good.

Any other suggestions?

Add some folded aluminum foil before you put the clamp on.

That's a new one on me too. I've been trying to get a good seal at the front of a new cat. converter without mashing it all to heck with the clamp, I'll try the band with some foil. Sounds like a good idea anyway.
