The final product...still good gains?

Hey guys

So the shop finished my exhaust, he didnt end up doing true duals, because of the fuel lines and all of this bull****, so we ended up just doing the longtubes, into the 3inch off road Y, with 1 dumped bullet, thats it.

My question is am i still getting good horsepower gains? i feel the acceleration difference, as for the sound its mellow at idle but when i get on it the tone is very nice (ill get videos)

its pretty much a straight pipe no? the bullets are pretty hollow lol...guy that installed it who is somehow a hot rod builder said im still getting the same performance and theres no back pressure.

True duals do flow more, but the difference in power is supposedly negligible...

And I would imagine since you're dumped in front of the axle, it's going to be an even less noticeable difference.

bolt on LT1...LTs with a 3" dumped exhaust is more than free flowing enought to yeild good gains.

probably see minimal gains with a TD setup...possibly a couple hp in the peak...but doubtful any down low.

H/C and it would be a small restriction.

enjoy your new setup...especially since its probably saving you 50lbs and yielding nearly the same power.

i went from a single 3" setup to 3" duals on my cammed LS1...and felt minimal increases.

thanks man, i kind of like the setup, its clean and you cant even see it, all you see is the little turndown, people will think im a sleeper until i mash it

with more power and such i could always switch to a 4" mufflex Y and 3.5 inch muffler
