Fake Exhaust?

maybe this is silly...but i was wondering if i could run true duals with dumps and still keep my slp loudmouth hanging there so i still have the tips coming out the back? i don't really want to fork out all the money on going over the axle and cali is kinda strict on their policy with running dumps...so i was wondering if this may be possible or has anyone done it before?

oh, and on a side note, i need to change my header gaskets...does anybody have a part # for a good header gasket for some jet hot lt's? thanks...

Usually people go dumps for a reason. They like the loook of the back bumper open, they dont want the extra weight, or they don't want to pay to fab over the axle. I personally like the way it looks with no exhaust out the back. If I remeber right you can not move the stock emissions equipment on your vehicle in california. So putting on TD would get you in hot water automatically. At least thats waht I recall I may/probably am wrong.

Personally I wouldn't do it. I think it will look out of place plus you'll probably have all sorts of rattling comming from the extra pipes.

As for the gasket question, I am happy with the Fel-Pro 1406s.

thats what i have now, 2 elec. ones, and the z is running like dump, when theyre open the o2s see fresh air that is not coming through the motor and compensates for a lean condition and dumps fuel in. gunked up all the plugs on my right bank once and did it again after i changed them () it was awesome while it lasted but i will be going to a loud mouth or gmmg this summer because i miss driving it bad!
