Header Horsepower ?!?!?!
Header Horsepower ?!?!?!
Hi, I have a 1995 camaro z28 with LT1 engine. The engine has little bolt ons like (air foil,Lt4 knock sensor, SS ram air intake, and a good tune up).
How much horsepower will Pacesetter Mid-Tube Headers and y-pipe give me ?
Will I have any problems with these headers like- burnt plug wires, ect...
Thanks for the help !!

I'd say you could expect 15-20rwhp. Headers were the only "bolt on" that i did on my car that i could actually feel a noticable difference in power. It was a pretty big SOTP gain. I've read bad things about the pacesetter mids. I believe they have terrible plug access and fitment on the mids. If i was gonna go with some cheaper brand mid's I'd go with Mac's in a heart beat.
I love the Pacesetter mids. Plug access is awesome. I put the plugs in and forgot antiseize and pulled them out and reinstalled them in minutes. I would have never tried this before. The O2's are very easy to get to and look awesome. Bolting them down was 10 times easier than i thought and look sealed perfectly.
these are the headers I want to buy, are they ok to get ??

Pacesetters are a decent brand, just keep in mind that those are non-coated headers. The black paint they use is marginal and is mainly used just to get them through the storage/shipping process. Once installed on the car, the paint wears off pretty quick. Your best bet will be to strip them and paint them with a quality header paint.
I just installed as set of pacesetter mid's today, the pass side went in without trouble but the drivers side i had to flatten(very little) the #3 tube some to stop it from hitting the steering shaft.
I did paint them with a hight heat silver paint to. Good luck with the choise.
