I installed my Hooker long tubes over the weekend and I figured I'd give you guys some video clips. The first vid is stock manifolds and pipe with a Flowmaster muffler. The second clip is of open headers. I'll update this post around this weekend when I get the exhaust fabricated. Click the pic to play the video. Sorry the second one is kinda brief...I'm sure the neighbors are less than thrilled about how loud it is.

The same Flowmaster muffler that was on there is still on there. The shop only stocks Flowmaster and Magnaflow. The guy said Flowmaster would be louder so I just stuck with what was there already. Anyway, the full setup is Hooker LT's, ORY, 3" tubing and Flowmaster muffler.

 

Nice. So what is the rest of the exhaust going to consist of, I'm sure the neighbors aren't going to like open headers for long.

 

I just dropped it off at the shop today. It's going to be a 3" Y and 3" over the axle to the muffler and 3" out to some custom quad tips. I'll put some pictures of those up when I get the car back tomorrow.

Edited with final exhaust clip. After I get the computer tuned, I'll get somebody to man the camera while I do a fly-by. I'd do it now but the car's running like crap. Might be part of the reason you see the smoke coming out of the tailpipes. It's either the RTV I used on the gaskets (I was fairly liberal) or something else. I'll figure it out eventually.

 

Can I get the details on your full exhaust, from the headers to the tailpipes? I absolutely love the way it sounds in the last video. Well done.

 

Hooker LT's and Hooker ORY. 3" exhaust to a Flowmaster muffler. I'm not sure what series it is, but the guy at the muffler shop said the 80 series is the only one for the Camaros. I'm too lazy to validate that. It's 2.5" from the muffler to the tips. I'm not sure what the tips do to the sound, but it's quad 18 inch long 3" diameter stainless steel rolled tips.

 

No, I don't think the tips do a whole lot, I just typed "to the tips" because it kinda emphasized the whole thing. lol Thanks though!
