I just barely purchased a 97 z28 with an LT1. Its currently strait piped, any suggestions on what brand of exhaust system I should use? The previous owner obviously had no clue with what he was doing with this car. Any other suggestions on what to do with that? Its almost completely bone stock with the exception of some new headers.

 

What type headers do you have - shorties, mid-length or long tubes? Do you know the brand? Does the system have to retain catalytic converters for tailpipe emissions? Do you have additional performance mods planned for the future? Do you want a replacement of the stock type exhaust = performance catback, or true dual exhaust (not really needed on a stock engine)?
