Exhaust Idea's

Alright so on my '95 Z28 I'm going to be putting a set of Pacesetter headers in soon. Currently, my car has a Borla catback, open plate. I hate the "borla bark" sound as well as the rasp. I was debating throwing in one of my Powerstick Chambered mufflers in the I-pipe but I'm not sure still. My idea's are as follows:

1) Keep the borla system

2) Replace the borla muffler with a piece of pipe and install one of my Powerstick Chambered mufflers in the I-pipe

3) Run duals

Now, my car is on Sportlines currently but it will be on Strano's by the time I do the header install. How much room would I have to run duals with those springs? The cheapest way would be to replace the borla and install the powerstick but I'm still unsure. All of this will be going through magnaflow cats.

No replies huh, well that's helpful. Nobody run a powerstick on these cars?

Not lots of room either way- I had to 'massage' my floor in slightly when I put on my TSP so that it would be higher since it was hitting my driveshaft.

There isn't a lot of room both lengthwise and width wise in the I-pipe. Depending on how loud you want it either get rid of it completely and pipe it (you might get some popping going this route) or take it to a shop and have them put in dual chambered in the back.

Hope that helps
