It depends on what you want to do with it. If the headers and y pipe you get will match up with your stock cat location then get a hi flow cat. If your wanting to run a true dual set up then do it all at once. The stock exhaust system is a joke so I would go with catback then headers and match to fit.

It doesn't matter, whatever your budget can afford. Alot of people do a catback and cold air intake as their first mods and then move along to headers later on.

I did headers first, not that that's meaningful in any way

do them both at once. It will save time and hassle down the road.

I agree that most people do a catback to change their sound for something a little louder first, if they can't afford to do headers at the same time. The people that do headers before the catback are those that are more concerned about power than the tone of the exhaust.

If you do the catback first, don't expect your exhaust to sound the same after the headers. But buy doing a catback first you at least have an IDEA on whether or not you're going to like that particular unit for when you go to add the headers later.

Very good point.

Typically people get a catback first. Whichever you want.... I'd do them at once, unless you weren't planning on doing much to it for a few years and wanted a bit more of a exhaust note.

By the way, we have a nice selection of LT1 and LS1 catback systems, as well as headers. Not to mention some of the best prices around
