Exhaust Choices?

Have heard over and over again How Borla is the best choice. But I've always been a fan of SLP. What's everyone elses choice out of these 4 ? As far as sound and HP/TQ gain?

Borla's my pick.. I've had it for almost 7 years now! Sounds great, i love that its adjustable! Not sure on the HP and TQ gain, was on the car when i bought it.. But i'm sure it's very good.
I've heard all the rest and my raking would be:
Borla
Magnaflow
SLP
Flowmaster

My car came with a type of SLP Exhaust *NOT LOUDMOUTH*. It is an excelent exhaust very mellow and has a great tone. But if I were to ever replace it i'd go with true duals or just go with a borla. Borla sounds great no matter if the plates on it are open, or closed. I've known alotta LT1's that have got it on them.

no hooker ?, but my choice for [U]YOUR[U] list would be borla >magnaflow>flowmaster>slp. the flowmaster flows worst than the slp, but I think sounds nicer.

Why do you care what we think? If you like the SLP, get the SLP.

The Borla is the biggest ticket item, the other three fall pretty close to each other in price. I would just get you what you think sounds best. They are all popular catbacks.

Im not so much worried about the sound as I am the performance gains. And Everyone says theirs flows the best and sounds the best. But will the t304 Borla last longer than the others? Or just another marketing thing ?

Its stainless so it should last you for many years. But on the flip side, the Magnaflow is an all stainless catback as well and about a 1/3 of the cost. The cost and the fact that it was stainless were the two selling points for me when I purchased the Magnaflow.

Borla sounds the best but is very expensive.Go with Magnaflow. You wont be
disappointed. The SLP and Hooker tips are kinda cheesy IMO.

Magnaflow here. I just put on a high flow Magnaflow cat too.
It really lowered my tone and raised my volume at WOT.

See above for thread with sound clip comparing before and after.

Borla by far is prolly one of the best exhausts out there but my vote goes for SLP because of the cost and sound. I know so many LS1's around the rochester area with the loudmouth, they all sound awesome and if you throw some headers on your not going to be disappointed.

Im saving for dynatech headers and a loudmouth (2) right now
