Had a P0430 code for a few weeks and finally broke down and replaced the sensor. Code resurfaced about a day later. That tells me that the cat itself is bad. I currently live in Georgia but in a week am moving out to California for the next few years. My question is...WITHOUT buying factory OEM cats for my car, because they're too damn expensive, how can I fix this problem I have and still pass a California emissions test. Any help would be appreciated because I only have the next 5 or 6 days to get this fixed.

 

of the research I've done so far, the only part I can put on my car that is legal for sale or use in California are factory converters.....does anyone know of anything different?....I sure as hell hope so....I don't have $1200 to replace factory cats!
