EGR? with headers

SO i see that alot of guys are running the Pace setter long tube hearders. with no EGR. so i guess i dont under stand that, what do u do the EGR then? pulg it up? will the check engine light come on?

Yes, the check engine light will come on if you delete the EGR system in OBD-II. You have to have the code "programmed out" of the PCM.
